The aim of the Seminar was to improve the understanding of both public and private stakeholders in the IPA area of the topic of the  “Fast corridor approach”, as an emerging solution to port congestion problems in the port areas, as well as a time and costs saving strategy.

Numerous Custom Brokers professionals who attended the Seminar had the opportunity to gain training credits, being the Seminar certified and recognized by the Territorial Council of the Customs Brokers of Ancona, the body entrusted to coordinate and validate the training activities for Customs Brokers.

Some relevant experiences of custom corridors recently launched in Italy, such as Genoa-Rivalta Scrivia Corridor and La Spezia-Melzo Corridor, were presented, in order to highlight and discuss the potentials and limitations of this kind of instrument.

We wish to thank all the Institutions and operators that attended the event and we look forward to future opportunities of professional training and debate in the field of capacity building in the transport and logistic sector.
